“Volunteers”---someone
who gives of their time freely. The Auxiliary at Logan Medical
Center consists of approximately 40 volunteers who proudly serve
your hospital. Not only do they maintain the gift shop and snack
bar, they donate hours of service to the patients of the hospital.
With smiling faces and kind words, you can always count on the “pink
ladies”. Whether it’s to sit with a patient, enhance
the hospital grounds, or merely to greet you with a smile, they
are willing to volunteer.
Over the past forty years, the volunteer
auxiliary of Logan Medical Center’s endeavors have included
donations of bedside tables for patient rooms, decorating the
family waiting room and donating thousands of hours in service.
During the summer months of June and July, the Jr. Volunteer
program at Logan Medical Center comes alive. This program gives
the opportunity to students’ aged 14-17 to volunteer in
all different aspects of the hospital.
